U.S. companies of all sizes have gotten better at managing risks that could keep them from achieving strategic goals, according to a survey of more than 450 senior financial executives. But nearly half of the survey respondents found that improvements were lacking at a time when risk perceptions are running high.
The survey identified factors that lead to better risk management decisions, barriers to executing on those decisions, and the importance of tone at the top set by the board
